Our mission is to spread the Gospel in Latvia through Talsi Christian School

as it continues to provide a Christ centered academic curriculum, community outreach and raising up Christian leaders for the next generation

  • Talsi Christian School Foundation seeks to expand its role in helping the school achieve even greater results through an intentional fundraising program aimed at doubling the school’s enrollment capacity and establishing an endowment fund to ensure its sustainability and future

  • Talsi Christian School Foundation manages and disburses charitable donations received in support of the school and its several ministries.  Distributions to the school are earmarked for: 

    • FUNDING for the school’s capital construction, general operating, student scholarship and endowment needs;

    • SCHOLARSHIPS for graduating seniors who are committed to the gospel and who wish to pursue their education at the college or university level.

    • CAMP MINISTRIES - orphan, youth, sports and other summer camps that are attended by children and teens from throughout Latvia.

    • 4:13 Ministries dba Talsi Christian School Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization  founded in Arlington, Texas in 2005, for the primary purpose of providing financial support to Talsi Christian School and other Christian-focused youth programs the school offers in Talsi, Latvia.

    • Since its founding Talsi Christian School Foundation has operated as a solely volunteer-run operation, with only minimal overhead expenses.

    • Talsi Christian School Foundation’s accounting is handled by an independant external accounting firm.

Summer Ministries 2026 || Kids || VBS || SekoMan Youth Camp

We are incredibly thankful for the many volunteers, speakers, small-group leaders, churches, and generous supporters from both Latvia and the United States who continue to invest in these ministries. Your sacrificial giving allows us to keep the cost of camps extremely low so that finances never become a barrier for young people seeking to know Christ. Your partnership is making an eternal difference in the next generation.

Children's Camp

For nearly 30 years, Talsi Christian School has opened its doors each summer to provide a free Children's Camp for orphans, children from foster families, and children facing difficult life circumstances. This year's camp once again created a place where every child was welcomed, valued, and reminded that they are deeply loved by God. Through Bible lessons, worship, sports, crafts, games, and meaningful relationships with caring leaders from Latvia and the United States, children experienced the hope found in Jesus Christ. Centered on the theme "Jesus, the Light of the World" (John 8:12), the week encouraged children to trust that Christ's light shines even in the darkest seasons of life

Vacation Bible School

Our annual Vacation Bible School welcomed children in grades 1–6 for five exciting days of learning, friendship, and discovering God's Word. Led by TCS students, alumni, and volunteers from Latvia and the United States, this year's "Construction Zone" theme taught children how to build their lives on a strong biblical foundation by using God's Word as their guide. Through engaging Bible stories, hands-on activities, sports, music, and crafts, children not only had fun but also gained practical tools for living out their faith every day.

SEKO MAN Youth Camp

This summer, SEKO MAN celebrated its 20th anniversary, bringing together teenagers from across Latvia for a life-changing week of worship, biblical teaching, small groups, electives, sports, and authentic Christian community. Built around the theme "His Workmanship" (Ephesians 2:10), campers were challenged to discover their identity in Christ and understand that God has uniquely created each of them with purpose. Throughout the week, many young people asked difficult questions, built lasting friendships, grew in their faith, and were encouraged to boldly follow Jesus long after camp had ended.

PRAYER REQUEST

As Talsi Christian School prepares for the upcoming school year, we invite you to continue praying with us.

Please pray for wisdom, strength, and renewed energy for our teachers, staff, and leadership as they prepare to welcome students back to campus. Pray that God would continue to use TCS to shape young lives academically, spiritually, and personally.

We also ask for prayer regarding an important decision by the Latvian government concerning funding requirements for private high schools. At this time, officials have not yet determined how our school will be treated under the new enrollment thresholds. Please pray for a favorable decision that will allow Talsi Christian School to continue operating its high school program. Keeping grades 10–12 open enables us to disciple students throughout their entire educational journey-from elementary school through graduation-and to continue sharing the hope of the Gospel during some of the most formative years of their lives.
